
1. Creating the Arms
Step 1
Add
a new cube using Shift-A.

Step 2
Tab into Edit mode and subdivide (W) it 3 times.

Step 3
Change
the smoothness to 1.

Step 4
Add a Mirror modifier.

Step 5
Add
a Subdivision Surface modifier.

Step 6
In Object
Mode, press W > Shade Smooth.

Step 7
Switch
to the Edit mode and position the cube towards the middle part of the arm.

Step 8
Select
the top vertices and position it towards the shoulder.

Step 9
Select
the edge loop and grab it along the edges by pressing G.

Step 10
Make
it straight along the X-axis by pressing Scale (S) then (X) then
(0).

Step 11
Select
the bottom part vertices and delete (X).

Step 12
Select
the bottom part and drag it as such and then rotate it so that the vertices
line up vertically.

Step 13
Make
it straight by using scale (S) in the x-axis (X) (0).

Step 14
Rotate
(R) it and then extrude (E) and then scale it down (S).

Step 15
Select
the edges shown (ALT-LMB) and then scale it up.

Step 16
Add
edge loops as shown (CTRL-R).

Step 17
Add
another edge loop near the hand.

Step 18
Select the edge shown (ALT-LMB) and make face (F).

Step 19
Cut
few edges using the Knife Tool (K).

Step 20
In
select face mode, select the faces shown.

Step 21
Go
to front view, extrude (E) it.

Step 22
Scale
(S) it in the Y-axis (Y).

Step 23
Add
an edge loop (CTRL-R).

Step 24
Move
it along the edges (G then G again) and scale (S) it in the Y-axis (Y).

Step 25
Add
3 more edge loops (CTRL-R).

Step 26
Select
the edges on the back of the hand and move it outwards.

Step 27
Select
the edge and move it along the edges (G then G again) and move it closer
towards the arm.

Step 28
Use
select face mode and select these 2 faces as shown in the following image.

Step 29
Extrude
the selected faces.

Step 30
Add
an edge loop (CTRL-R).

Step 31
Tab into object mode. The model should look as follows.

2. Creating Legs
Step 1
Add
a new cube (SHIFT-A).

Step 2
Tab into Edit mode and subdivide (W) it.

Step 3
Set number of cuts to 3 and smoothness to 1.

Step 4
Add Mirror Modifier.

Step 5
Add Subdivision Surface modifier.

Step 6
Tab to Edit mode and open object context menu (W) >
Shade Smooth.

Step 7
Tab into Edit mode and scale it (S) in the Z-axis (Z).

Step 8
Select
the bottom vertices.

Step 9
Grab
(G) it down and position it.

Step 10
Do
the same for the top vertices.

Step 11
Add
edge loops (CTRL-R).

Step 12
Tab into Object mode. Here’s how the model should look for now.
