Today author Frederik Steinmetz is back with the second day of his water displacement tutorial. In day 2, Frederik will continue working towards the completion of the underwater scene by finalizing the textures and materials in Blender.
In this tutorial you will learn how to use Blender to model an underwater scene. In the resulting animation the camera will pass through the water surface. Then we will use the compositor to create masks for advanced compositing in After Effects where we will also add the water running down from the camera in order to not make the transition look like a computer game.
