Create 3d geometry from USGS DEM data in Cinema 4D. Overlay the landmark model with a high resolution contour map to create a dynamic three-dimensional map.
Using USGS GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data, we will convert DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data into 3d geometry in Cinema 4D for a landmark of your choice. The DEM model will then be textured with a DRG (Digital Raster Graphic) to produce a high quality contour map.
Mograph will be used along with other free plugins to create a marker path along the geometry. The final animation will be taken to Adobe After Effects to add depth of field and apply color correction.
