
Today author Chandan Kumar will show us the process he used to create a VFX shot for his upcoming short film "Creepers". This tutorial will focus on some simple, yet effective techniques for creating tentacles in 3d Studio Max using modifier based animation, rather then a complex rig. Once the tentacles are animated, we'll add basic textures and lighting to the scene, before heading into After Effects to track the footage and composite the final shot.
