
Hey good folks, in this tutorial you'll learn how to simulate a lava lamp's hot wax floating in oil with Realflow. For this purpose, you'll create a condensed particle cluster that will be pushed and pulled by several opposing forces. Later, you'll create a mesh sequence based on the particle simulation and import it into Maya, where you'll create a SSS (Sub Surface Scatter) shader for the wax, light the scene and do a final render.
